Dennis was constructed following the above plans and took just over a year to build. He is constructed mainly from MDF and plywood.

The Chassis and Fender
Custom made steel chassis to take the weight of Dennis and his operator. It uses secondhand electric wheel chair parts for the drive

The Skirt

The Shoulders
The Shoulders are made and sculpted from 3 layers of 6mm bendy mdf and car body filler this is one of the hardest parts to construct
The Neck & Dome
The neck section is made from 18mm MDF this was machined with a router by hand
The small blocks are MDF with red beads
The dome and cowl are made from GRP (fibreglass)
Almost a Dalek now
Dennis is painted in 2k car paint, the black is Ford Panther Black and the silver is Ford Moondust Silver
